Hi! My name is Mrs. Alferio. This is my sixth year at Madison Community Elementary School. This is my first year as a second grade teacher. I have previously taught first grade for two years and was the third grade title one teacher prior to being a classroom teacher. I am so excited to work with you this year.
I grew up in Amherst and now live in Wakeman. I have one brother who is four years younger than me named Chris. He just moved back home from Columbus and works for a landscaping company. My husband, Blake, and I got married in July of 2009. He is a mechanic for United Airlines and a volunteer firefighter. I have one pet- a Shih Tzu dog named Snuggles.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, shopping, playing wii, traveling, and going for rides on our four wheeler. I also have an at home jewelry business for my second job.
My favorite colors are pink and purple. My favorite meal is pizza. I love to act goofy and have fun. I cannot wait to have a great year with my students.
